Pastor Vince has served at Redeemer for the past two years.  He has been a senior pastor at a church in Downey, CA and the pastor of a dual parish in Veneta and Junction City, OR.  He received his Master’s in theology from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, completing his four-year vicarage through the cross-cultural ministry program at Concordia University, Irvine, CA.  He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from BIOLA university, as well as an associate degree in history and social science from Citrus College.  He is forever reading or researching something.  He has worked a variety of jobs over the years, prior to becoming a pastor, from newspaper distribution to route sales/delivery rep.  His sermons reflect not only his sense of humor, but also his variety of life experiences.

He and his wife Lisa love to travel.  Fishing is one of the few hobbies that he indulges in.  He and his son Alex caught some beautiful salmon in Alaska last year.  He and Alex also enjoy going to baseball games and hope to one day visit all of the great MLB ballparks.

Most importantly of all though, he has a heart for the lost and strives to reach the hurting world with the Good News that Christ died to redeem us all from eternal punishment for our sins and through Christ alone we can have eternal life in Heaven with our God.
